Tanqueray Style Sessions

Last week I attended Style Sessions by Tanqueray featuring Marc Ecko and some other people? I don't remember. The best part of the entire party were two grown men getting into a physical fight over a free Photobooth that had been set up. Do only ghetto people drink gin?

Not that hungry...

Today at the Conde Nast cafeteria I ran into an old friend. He introduced me to some leggy blonde who does PR at Teen Vogue(god help her). We all got on line for the stir-fry. Teen Vogue Pr ordered carrot sticks...and...wait for it HOT SAUCE. And that was it. True Story. She turned to me and said "I just don't get hungry." An excess amount of cocaine or anorexia? Or both?

Halston Relaunch

A few weeks ago, during the staff board meeting, a discussion on Halston began. The editor in chief proclaimed "the world needs a Halston relaunch." We all agreed. But...is this really what we had in mind? I have to say I am a bit disappointed.



Last night, Halston had their after-party at Don Hill's, on the corner of Spring and Greenwhich. This is the same place that does MisShapes and a bunch of other shitty parties for those not old enough to legally drink. I guess Halston was trying to appeal to a younger crowd? I refused to go. I cannot help but feel that Halston is turning over in his grave at all of this.


I guess one cannot expect more from a company backed by Harvey Weinstein and Rachel Zoe...

Favorite Show So Far

Everyone is talking Alexander Wang this and Alexander Wang that. Yes, I loved his Fall hoodie scarf. It was amazing and yes, I went to the show and it was loud and fun and fresh. But what deserves more recognition this season is Generra. These guys are not even featured on Style.com yet. Thats ridiculous to me. Combat boots...pants tucked into socks into boots. slouchy hats...leather and bold knits. I love everything about this collection.
